Inspired’s story begins in 1995, when Ralph Zucker launched Somerset Development, assembling an all-star team of development, construction, and financial professionals, many of which remain part of our leadership today. Our company was formed around a development philosophy that promotes sustainable, walkable environments, providing a diversity of community-oriented spaces, housing, retail, and more.

From the master planning of Parklawn Center in Rockville, MD to our current efforts to reimagine Bell Works Chicagoland, collaboration has been the centerpiece of every one of our development initiatives. We believe that our success is predicated on the ability to align our vision with our world-class architecture, construction, and leasing teams, local elected officials, and the needs of our host communities.
